Snow Day...

We woke up at 5:30am to my cell phone and our home phone ringing.  It was the kids teachers calling to say that there was no school due to snow.  Wow....really?!?!  It has being snowing everyday since we arrived in Germany.  But, I looked out the window and it had dumped a ton since we went to bed.  Here is what our backyard looked like at 6 this morning.

we had a fun snow day.  Not the kind most would enjoy (including me) sleeping late, chillin in our pjs.  Not these two....we were up early and out sledding in our backyard.

Then we watched a little Scooby Doo in German.  That was hard work because they wanted me to translate everything that was said...  We then had some new friends come over to play on our sleds and come in to play dress-up.  (Cooper didn't like the last part too much)

We went to dinner tonight at a very warm German restaurant.  Karina really like "Schnitzel".  After dinner we stopped by the market.  Cooper has learned now how to put the coin in to get a basket.
